Shortly after 11 AM, units from the Three Bridges area of Readington Twp were alerted for a possible house fire on Goldfinch Lane.  Chief officers arrived and confirmed the working fire in a large 2.5 story home and requested a 2nd alarm.  The 2nd alarm brought Rescue 91 (D/C Vallat) and Tender 91-1 (Lt Godown) with an in-house crew of 8 men.

Rescue 91 operated for about 2 hours filling 26 air cyclinders and performing fire suppression and overhaul.  Intial companies from Three Bridges (33) and Readington (32) did a good job in getting a knock on several rooms and floors of fire.  Sunday was a busy day for QFC with companies answering 5 calls for service including 4 reported fires.
